We all live to represent something: whether that be ourselves, a group, family, or friends. Most of the things we try and represent are finite, or temporary, and we have the amazing opportunity to rise above that. We have an invitation from the God of the universe to represent His kingdom! I believe that 2,000 years ago, God became a man, and satisfied His own wrath so that we would not have to. We deserved that wrath because we rebelled against God, and one wrong is enough to earn God’s judgment. Jesus Christ made it possible for us to be restored to God eternally. I also believe that Jesus Christ rose from the grave and ushered in the Holy Spirit, who now lives in the heart of every believer.

I believe that the greatest gift that God can possibly give is Himself, and He did. We have the opportunity to receive that gift and have a true relationship with the God of the universe. Romans 10:9 says that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. Make Jesus the boss of your life, tell Him that you’ve done so and ask Him to forgive you.

Brother or sister. If you are in Christ you no longer represent what is temporary, but what lasts forever. You are free, and you are expected to represent Christ by being like Him. Work at it with all your heart. If your gonna’ rep, rep somethin’ greater than yourself.
